I started my chemo again 8 days ago. Not something I’m too fond of. It is a lower dose than before, but I have to take it every day. I’ll try that for a couple of months and see what happens. The first night I took it was not good, and I thought oh boy, this is not going to be good. The second night was better, but the last two have been a little worse. I just have to take it one day at a time.

I have healed up well, but still lacking energy. We’re having some work done to our house. It was badly in need of some renovations. We had to let things go for the past few years while traveling to Duke. It actually gives me something to do now, watching that is. The guys are doing a good job. The big job will be getting the house straightened up after they leave. It will come in time.

That’s about it for now. Thanks again for your support.

Take care,  Jamie

I was saddened to hear about the relapse and happy that you came through the surgery so well.

You’re a fighter and a winner in more ways than one.

It’s a new chapter and I know you’ll be fighting tooth and nail.

Hi Jamie. Hoping your chemo treatments are going better for you since you first started them. Are the house renovations complete yet? I know you would love to be able to do more but you need to save your strength to fight what you’re going through. Remember that many are thinking of you and your family. I continue to keep you in my prayers. Hugs to you and sweet Meme. Carol

    Hi Jamie
I am still checking up on you and it’s great to see your updates. You still have some challenges and we are praying for you and your family. It’s good to see you have a new job as foreman of the renovations, lol. You are truely an inspiration for me and I wish you the best of luck.

    Hi Jamie,

I thought I’d check in to see how you’re feeling and how you’re doing with your chemo treatments. I’m hoping that the treatments have been getting easier and that you don’t feel sick all the time. When do you go back to the doctor again? As many have mentioned; you, Meme and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

You’ve maintained a strong, positive approach to your illness since being diagnosed and I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking.

Never give up, Jamie! Keep fighting and do everything you can to maintain your strength. I know you’ve heard it many times before, but we are here for you and your family if you ever need anything.

I’ll keep watching for your next blog entry!

    All the Best, my friend!
